Magazine and newsletter printing
For a new publication, start with the finished size and approximate page count. Tell us how people will use it. An event programme needs to be easy to carry, while a staff magazine or product catalogue may benefit from a sturdier cover. We can discuss whether to use the same paper throughout or choose a separate cover stock.
If you publish regularly, tell us how often each issue comes out, how many copies you expect to need and whether the page count changes. If you have a previous issue, share its specification or a sample so we can quote on a comparable basis.
Choose your binding
- Stapled (8–72 pages). Folded pages are stapled along the spine. A good starting point for programmes, newsletters and many magazines.
- Perfect bound. Pages are glued into a flat spine, like a paperback. Consider this for a thicker catalogue, report or magazine.
- Wiro bound. Wire binding lets the pages lie flat when open. Consider it for training manuals and documents people need to refer to as they work.
What to include when you ask for a quote
- Finished size and total page count, with the cover described separately.
- Number of copies and, for regular publications, how often you print.
- Any paper, cover or binding preferences.
- Whether your artwork is ready or you need help setting it up.
- Your deadline and delivery postcode. Ask us about collection if you prefer to collect.

What is the minimum order quantity for booklets?

What's the difference between stapled and perfect bound booklets?
Stapled, or saddle-stitched, booklets are folded and stapled through the spine and are ideal for many magazines, programmes and brochures. Perfect binding uses a glued flat spine similar to a paperback book and is particularly suitable for longer documents.
How quickly can you produce booklets for Cambridge customers?
